As a premium mall in Singapore’s highly competitive core business district, the client faced challenges from dense surrounding competitors and homogeneous promotional messaging. The core goal of this project was to efficiently reach customers and drive in-store conversions while preserving the mall’s high-end brand identity. We delivered a promotional floor sticker solution tailored to the upscale environment:
1. Minimalist Visual Design, Tailored for High-End Settings
The floor stickers used a high-contrast black, white, and red color palette, with bold, large-font text highlighting core messages such as “NEW SEASON DEALS” and “Grand Opening Sale”, and emphasizing the discount strength of “UP TO 50% OFF”. The circular and oval shapes ensured visual focus while using soft lines to complement the mall’s clean, upscale aesthetic, avoiding the cheap feel of traditional promotional materials.
This minimalist design allowed customers to capture key information in just 0.5 seconds while walking, significantly improving the efficiency of promotional message delivery.
2. Precision Layout for Targeted Traffic Diversion
Leveraging the high foot traffic density of Singapore’s shopping malls, we developed a scenario-based layout strategy:
Seasonal Promotion Scenario: “NEW SEASON DEALS” stickers were placed at main entrances, escalators, and main corridors, creating continuous visual guidance that directed customers from entry points straight to the seasonal discount zone.
New Store Opening Scenario: “Grand Opening Sale” stickers were laid in surrounding corridors and intersections near the target store, with a striking red outer ring to ensure customers did not miss the new location amid the complex store layout.
3. Durable & Safe Materials for High-Frequency Use
Given the mall’s daily foot traffic of over 50,000 visitors, we selected industrial-grade wear-resistant, anti-slip PVC material with a diagonal anti-slip film surface. This material withstands frequent friction from high heels and shopping carts, while preventing slips from water spills—complying with Singapore’s public space safety standards. 9-color photo inkjet printing ensured vibrant, fade-resistant colors even after long-term use and cleaning, and the industrial-grade removable adhesive allowed for complete residue-free removal after promotions, without damaging the floor tiles.
Project Results
After implementation, the promotional floor sticker system delivered significant results:
Daily foot traffic to promotional areas increased by 52%, with first-week traffic for new store openings exceeding the target by 130%.
Participating brands saw an average sales increase of 38%, with conversion rates for key core categories rising to 2.3 times pre-event levels.
