How to Make Floor Stickers Stick Better

Standard Installation Method: StepbyStep for Stronger Adhesion

1. Clean the Floor Thoroughly

Use a dry cloth, broom, or vacuum cleaner to completely remove dust, grease, moisture, and debris.
Make sure the surface is dry, clean, and flat before applying the sticker.

⚠ Inadequate cleaning is one of the most common causes of peeling or failed adhesion.

2. Position the Sticker with Chalk

Place the sticker in your desired location and adjust its angle and alignment.
Use chalk or a removable marker to trace the outline around the sticker. This ensures accurate placement during application.

3. Apply Contact Adhesive (Universal Glue)

Using a brush, apply a thin, even layer of contact glue within the marked area.
Let the glue sit for 3–5 minutes until it becomes slightly tacky (semitransparent). This improves the initial grip.

⚠ Choose an ecofriendly, lowodor glue suitable for indoor use to avoid unpleasant fumes or surface damage.

4. Align Carefully and Apply Gradually

Align the sticker with the chalk outline. Start from one corner and peel off the backing slowly while sticking the sticker down bit by bit.
Press firmly section by section as you go to avoid bubbles or misalignment.

5. Press Down Firmly with a Roller

Use a roller, flat weight, or hardcover book to press the sticker from the center outward.
This step helps remove air bubbles and enhances full contact with the floor.
Pay special attention to edges and corners, applying extra pressure to secure those areas.

6. Curing Time: Keep Dry for 48 Hours

After installation, keep the area dry and avoid walking or cleaning over the sticker for at least 48 hours.
During this curing period, the adhesive will fully bond with the floor for longlasting adhesion.

✅ Avoid using the space or exposing it to moisture immediately after installation.
